Cebu, Philippines / Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam — BRIDEX has received the ASEAN MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Venue Award 2026 under the Exhibition Venue Category at the ASEAN Tourism Standards Awarding Ceremony, held on 30 January 2026 at the Grand Ballroom, Nustar Resort, Cebu, Philippines.
The award was received on behalf of BRIDEX by Muhammad Syukri Nur bin Haji Mohd Jais, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Damaira Sdn Bhd, the venue owner of BRIDEX, in conjunction with ASEAN tourism-related meetings attended by representatives from ASEAN Member States.
The ASEAN MICE Venue Award, under the ASEAN Tourism Standards, recognises venues across the ASEAN region that meet established assessment criteria, including facilities, service quality, safety, accessibility, and operational readiness for hosting MICE events.
This recognition follows a site inspection conducted in November 2025, during which BRIDEX demonstrated compliance with ASEAN MICE standards for exhibition venues.
BRIDEX extends its appreciation to Armada Properties Sdn Bhd, Sales & Marketing Partner, for their strong support and effective coordination, which were instrumental in the successful completion of the assessment process.
The award reflects BRIDEX’s commitment to maintaining high standards in venue management and supports Brunei Darussalam’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its MICE sector at the regional level.
